Happy Halloween- Help Yourself To A Slice Of Feetloaf!

Just in time for Halloween, a new meme is stomping across screens everywhere: feetloaf. The Washington Post describes the Frankenfood as "a lifelike sculpture of two severed solitary feet--not fashioned from marble or wood, or even (heaven forbid) human flesh, but rather from...raw ground beef." The spooky dish also features an onion as the bone that would appear after a foot was severed, and "rounded slivers of onion perfectly formed into ghostly, grisly toenails that no manicurist in their right mind would touch." Richard Wilson, the man whose original "feetloaf" tweet spawned the viral craze, says he was inspired by something his aunt used to say. "We used to say that she put her foot into her food,” he explains. “That’s what all us young’uns said--so I thought it would be a good joke to make a foot.”

It’s almost Halloween, and ‘feetloaf’ is already giving us nightmares - The Washington Post
