Luke Combs teased his social media followers with a sneak peek of an unreleased ballad, and hinted that the song is a collaboration.
Combs shared a snippet of “More Less Than Perfect” on Instagram and TikTok. He captioned the one-minute audio clip, “who should I duet this with?” The question stirred anticipation from eager commenters, and even country stars offering to lend their voice to the track. Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney commented, “I’m in.” Ashley Cooke wrote, “I volunteer as tribute.” Others suggested Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Kacey Musgraves, Megan Moroney, Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson and other artists. It wasn’t clear as of publication time which artist might appear as a duet partner on “More Less Than Perfect,” or when Combs might release the song.
Most recently, Combs released Fathers & Sons in June 2024. The 12-track album offers a glimpse of the singer-songwriter’s life as a father of two young boys. Combs also unleashed “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” last year, serving as the lead single from the star-studded Twisters soundtrack.
