An annual survey on America's favorite VEGETABLES just came out . . . and broccoli landed the in top spot again this year.
The runners-up were corn . . . then carrots . . . potatoes . . . and asparagus.
Broken down by state, broccoli is the #1 vegetable in 29 states. Corn is the vegetable of choice in 11 states, which is up 37% from last year. And carrots are #1 in 10 states, plus Washington, D.C.
Over 5,000 people between the ages of 18 and 94 took part in the survey, which was conducted by the Green Giant brand. So it's probably safe to assume that the options were limited to vegetables that THEY sell.
It's also notable that they didn't include any KIDS in the survey . . . although somewhat surprisingly, 68% of parents claim their kids ENJOY eating vegetables.
