We all know Dolly Parton is a wealthy woman, and puts her money to good use, like donating money to help develop the COVID vaccine, and reinvesting in her hometown. Well, according to Forbes, all that hard work has certainly paid off.
In case you missed it, the mag has included Dolly on their list of the Richest Self-Made Women in America, landing at 86 on the list of 100.
Forbes reports that Dolly is worth about $350 million, with her 3,000 song catalog bringing in "between $6 million and $8 million in royalty payments" In total her catalog is said to be worth about $150 million. She also makes money from her investments in filmmaking, products and of course, her theme park Dolly World, with her 50% stake in it worth about $165 million.
