It may be awhile before we get to see live music at a club or even an arena, but Eli Young Band is getting ready to perform their first post-lockdown gig.
The band is set to perform at the very first “Concert In Your Car" at Rangers' Globe Life Field Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event is set for June 4th, with tickets going on sale Friday at a cost of $40 per car.
EYB is one of four acts confirmed for the new series, with Whiskey Myers performing June 5th, Pat Green set for June 6th and Josh Abbott Band & Kevin Fowler, closing things out on June 7th.
Only 400 cars will be allowed at the show, with every other parking spot left open to promote social distancing. There will also be no concessions or merchandise in order to make the show as contactless as possible. The acts will be protected as well, performing acoustically with members six feet apart, with minimal crew used.
Concerts will last only an hour, and fans will listen to the show through a specific FM frequency on their car radios.
