It looks like Dierks Bentley’s 90s country cover band Hot Country Knights will be releasing their very own album soon. The singer announced the group, fronted by Dierks’ 90s alter ego Douglas "Doug" Douglasson, has just signed a record deal with UMG Nashville.
“Twenty years after Y2K nearly killed country music, we are here to give it mouth-to-mouth...,” the band shared on Instagram. “new decade, and a NEW RECORD DEAL with@umgnashvillefor THE KNIGHTS!” Dierks also added, “And just like that, I have new label mates… congrats to the @hotcountryknightson their new record deal with@umgnashville...”
The band, who describe themselves as “Murfreesboro's 3rd or 4th best 90s Country cover band on a Tuesday night, even shared video of them going to sign their record deal.
