(Dover, DE) -- Jury deliberations are set to begin this morning in the murder trial of Rodney West. A Kent County jury will decide the fate of the 54-year-old who is accused of shooting a man in the parking lot of Towne Point Elementary School last August. Prosecutors say the men were at odds for months after sexual texts were discovered between West and the other man's wife, leading to him shooting the unarmed man. West claimed that he was acting in self-defense during a heated argument. The jury will be looking at charges of murder and possession of a firearm during a felony as well as alternative counts.
