Police Arrest Georgetown Man On Multiple Charges

(Millsboro, DE) -- A Georgetown man is behind bars on multiple charges after he was found in possession of heroin. Officials say while at the Wawa in Millsboro, they discovered a man they knew was wanted out of Sussex County. The man, who has been identified as Toby Smokovich, resisted arrest. Once troopers took Smokovich into custody, they allegedly found heroin in his possession, said he tried to discard 36 small bundles of heroin on the floor when he saw police. Smokovich was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.
