Carly Pearce married Michael Ray on Sunday, in a small ceremony just north of Nashville. The two were planning for an outdoor wedding, but rainy weather moved them into a barn at a wedding venue. Carly told People.com, “No one noticed the storms as we moved the ceremony inside. The love and joy in the room was perfect to us. It was a truly romantic night!”
Carly wore a non-traditional, short sleeve, gown designed by Samantha Sleeper featuring, a high neck, and a sheer lace, long overlay, showing a short, above the knee dress. The ceremony was officiated by Bill Cody, a Nashville morning radio personality and announcer at the Grand Ole Opry.
The reception food consisted of shrimp and grits and a make-your-own burger station. When it came time for the first dance, Jake Owen was there and sang, “Made For You.” The wedding cake was vanilla with chocolate frosting.
We were too busy this weekend and couldn't make it.
