Fox is developing a new one-hour drama focused on country music. Think Dynasty with cowboy boots.
Sandbox Entertainment’s Jason Owen, who manages Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town and Dan + Shay, will serve as executive producer, along with Gail Bermanand writer Melissa London Hilfers.
In the midst of a landmark week, current CMA Awards Vocal Duo of the Year nominees Maddie & Tae surprised fans on Tuesday (Oct 1st) by dropping the title track for Part Two of their album, Everywhere I’m Goin’, out on October 18th via Mercury Nashville. Written by the award-winning duo with Josh Thompson and Jimmy Robbins, the soaring track is both an intimate tribute to the past and snapshot into the future, while continuing to showcase “their vocal blend is among the most ear-catching in country today” (PEOPLE).
