A man pulled out a gun at a Popeyes restaurant because employees said they were out of chicken sandwiches, according to police.

The incident was reported at 8:47 p.m. Monday at Scott and Corder streets.

A routine traffic stop landed a Utah woman behind bars after she allegedly tried to pass herself off to police as her 21-year-old daughter.

Heather Garcia, 38, was pulled over in Farmington, Utah, after police noticed that she was driving a BMW that didn’t have a license plate, according to local CBS affiliate KUTV.

The students at St. Edward Catholic School in Nashville can no longer check out the popular Harry Potter book series from their school's library. 

The seven-book series depicting the magical adventures of a young wizard and his friends was removed from the library because of their content, the Rev. Dan Reehil, a pastor at the Roman Catholic parish school, wrote in an email.

A Georgia probation officer has resigned and her friend has been arrested for borrowing that officer’s badge and gun to get free snacks at a QuikTrip.

WSB-TV reports 33-year-old Pektra LaQuiche Edgerton was arrested and charged with impersonating an officer.
