Delaware Chronic Disease Self-Management Program Free Lay Leader Training

The Delaware Medical Reserve Corps is seeking volunteers who are interested in becoming Lay Leaders for the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP). This is a great opportunity to help improve the health of Delawareans. Medical and non-medical volunteers, with or without a chronic disease are all welcome!

This training is the anchor training for our Self-Management Lay Leader program. An approved application for the lay leader program is required. After completing this 4-day training, you will be eligible to attend Diabetes Lay Leader Training, Chronic Pain Lay Leader Training, and/or Cancer Thriving and Surviving Lay Leader Training.

Thursdays & Fridays: September 19th & 20th and 26th & 27th

8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Thomas Collins Building, Training Room, 540 S DuPont Hwy, Dover, DE 19901
