#TryItTuesday at La Baguette in Dover

It's another Try it Tuesday! This week I stopped into La Baguette in Dover to work with Anita and Chef Ludovic and what a blast it was! La Baguette is a French bakery located at 323 South Governors Avenue in Dover, Delaware. It is the perfect slice of France right here in the First State! From fresh baked breads, to french pastries, crepes, coffee, specialty sandwiches, salads and the best house made quiche in town! They use non GMO flour, make sprouted bread, baguettes, brioche and other delicious breads. Keep in mind, they make all of their breads and pastries on site! Mageline's macarons are sold along with Boar's Head brand deli meats, pastrami, and deluxe ham as well as their cheeses and sell their products by the pound, too. They do not use high fructose corn syrup or additives or preservatives in anything.

La Baguette also carries gourmet retail items, too. Local products are available, such as local honey, lavender products from Lavender Fields in Milton, Dominion soda and Chef Fred's FIRE sauce.

What a lot of people don't know is that La Baguette is a great spot for lunch! Some people even pick up dinner! You can enjoy a bite to eat or cup of coffee inside or outside on their beautiful patio. They also cater! Weddings, lunch trays, any occasions, really!

La Baguette hosts a Chef's table once a month , which has been sold out for 3 years, if not more! It's a four course dinner with a mystery menu. INCREDIBLE!!

Oh and their Breakfast Club! Breakfast sandwiches, stuffed crepes, scrambled eggs, sauteed potatoes and more! No reservations needed, just come and enjoy! 9am too 11:30am every 4th Saturday at La Baguette with live local music!

It was such a blast working with Chef Ludovic and Anita! They had me in the back helping make the croissant dough and sourdough, which is quite the process! It takes a couple days to complete, which goes to show the fact that they use all fresh ingredients and make everything on site. You just can't beat that! I loved playing a role in that and learning how to make fresh bread! I also did my best making crepes with Anita ... I could defiantly use some practice, but rest assured it tasted delicious. I even helped a young couple who came in to pick up some Irish Creme Cruffins, which looked amazingly delicious! So much hard work and passion goes into everything at La Baguette which really makes it a special place.

Stop in sometime, I know you will love it! La Baguette is located at 323 South Governors Avenue in Dover, Delaware and online at www.labaguettede.com You can also find them on Facebook

Thanks again to Chef Ludovic and Anita for having me! I hope you enjoy the video!
