(Dover, DE) -- The Special Olympics Summer Games will get underway this weekend. Law enforcement officers ran through Dover yesterday, carrying a torch to symbolize the kick-off of the event. The last mile of the run was particularly special because it honored the late Lieutenant Steven Floyd who was killed in a 2017 prison riot. The Special Olympics Summer Games is set to kick off tomorrow in Dover.
