Delaware Senate Passes Plastic Ban

(Dover, DE) -- A ban on plastic bags is one step closer to becoming law in Delaware. The state Senate passed a bill on Thursday that would ban single-use bags commonly seen at supermarkets and convenience stores. The proposal was introduced by Democratic Representative Gerald Brady. The last step is for Governor John Carney, who supports the ban, to sign the bill into law.
