If you've ever opened a fortune cookie that had those "lucky numbers" on it, and you wondered if anyone's ever used those numbers to win the lottery . . . the answer is YES.
A 66-year-old guy named Charles Jackson Jr. from Cumberland County, North Carolina just won a $344.6 MILLION Powerball jackpot.
And he says he got the numbers off a fortune cookie his granddaughter got at a Vietnamese restaurant.
Charles took the lump sum of $223 million when he cashed in his ticket on Tuesday.
So what's he going to do with the money? He plans to donate some . . . give his brother $1 million . . . and, quote, "I'm still going to wear my jeans . . . maybe newer ones."
