It's back to the drawing board for officials in Christina School District. Residents in the area struck down a referendum on Tuesday that would have imposed a 34-cent property tax increase. Had the measure passed, it would have raised approximately nearly 19-million dollars for the school district over three years. The referendum failed by more than 13-hundred votes. It's also the third to be denied by voters in four years. The district's superintendent says they are disappointed with the results.
