A new survey says Delaware is one of the least federally dependent states in the country. Wallethub recently released a study looking at the number of people getting assistance from the federal government. Delaware residents are ranked 50th in the nation for dependency on federal handouts. Because of the state government's rate of accepting federal assistance,Delaware is ranked 49th overall.
