MHS Air Force JROTC Craft Fair 2019

The Middletown High School's Air Force Junior ROTC Parent Booster Club will be hosting its 4th Annual Craft Fair on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Middletown High School in Middletown, Delaware! Christa Cooper will be live on location from 9-11 with your chance to win Luke Bryan tickets!

The MHS AFJROTC (also known as the DE-801) was established in 1980 an it is the second oldest AFJROTC in Delaware.

The Corps is a multifaceted, co-curricular high school program which is comprised of approximately 120 cadets, grades 9 thru 12. The cadets receive classroom instruction in areas such as Aerospace Science, Global and Cultural Studies, Personal Financial Planning, Leadership Skills, etc.. The cadets also have the opportunity to compete in various military-based Drill Competitions, Physical and Academic Challenges, Model Rocketry and Cyber Patriot events.

Additionally, these outstanding young adults participate in a multitude of Community Service Projects throughout the calendar year. Such as Annual Holiday-Themed Party for the area’s children ‘in need’ for the past 13 years; Bell Ringers for the Salvation Army during the Holiday Season; providing Color Guards

for numerous local and state wide special events throughout the calendar year ; participating in The American Heart Walk and much more. The Corps also has an “Adopt-a-Family Program” and has ‘adopted’ a numerous families ‘in-need’ in our community and school throughout the year. 

The proceeds from the Craft Fair 2019 will go towards that basic maintenance and operations of the Corps, the MHS AFJROTC Adopt-a-Family Program and the Children’s Christmas Holiday Party.
