(New Castle, DE) -- Police say a Florida man and Baltimore teenager were arrested in Delaware as part of a nationwide "grandma scam." Officials learned that three elderly people in different states sent money to their grandchildren who they thought were in trouble. The victims mailed cash to various locations across the country including New Castle County where the suspects were caught last month. Police recovered 30-thousand dollars in the alleged scam. David Green, of Miami, and the 17-year-old juvenile have been charged with felony theft, attempted felony theft and conspiracy.
