(Dover, DE) -- The Delaware House is approving a new gun safety bill. The proposal cleared the House in a 22 to 19 vote on Tuesday. The bill would require gun owners to safely store firearms so they're not easily obtained. Supporters of the measure say it will help prevent accidental shootings, suicides, and shooting rampages by mentally ill people. The bill is now headed to the Senate.
