State Warns Against Vacation Rental Scams

(Dover, DE) -- The Delaware Department of Justice is warning of upcoming vacation scams. Con artists are targeting people making plans for the summer. People are urged to be especially careful when booking vacation rentals. Scammers often copy photos and information from legitimate listings, post it online, and collect deposits. The DOJ's Consumer Protection Unit says Delawareans should be wary and make sure they are renting from legitimate listings.
