In Japanese sakura means cherry blossom, and a matsuri is a festival. Join us as we celebrate Japanese culture with crafts, a traditional Japanese dance demonstration and kimono demonstration by Kuniko Kanawa, a performance by the KyoDaiko taiko drum troupe of Philadelphia, a presentation on the history of anime/manga/cosplay by the Delaware Anime Society (for ages 13+), and more! Japanese/asian-inspired clothing and family-friendly cosplay are welcome. KyoDaiko's performance is sponosred by the Friends of Kent County Public Library.
