(Wilmington, DE) -- The owner of a chemical plant is repaying Delaware after a toxic gas leak forced a bridge to close. Robert Stewart with Croda Inc. has reimbursed the Delaware River and Bay Authority around 150-thousand dollars in revenue lost when the Delaware Memorial Bridge had to shut down for several hours last years. Officials were worried that drivers could possibly inhale ethylene oxide, which is a known carcinogen.
