(Harbeson, DE) -- Work has begun to improve a dangerous intersection in Sussex County. WBOC-TV reports 110 crashes have been reported at the US 9-State Road 5 intersection in Harbeson between 2005 and 2015. Crews today began construction to add turn lanes and shift the roadway to accommodate large trucks. The project is expected to be completed in 2020.
