Officials Warn Ice Isn't Thick Enough To Walk On

(Salisbury, MD)  --  Even though area lakes are frozen over, they may not be safe to play on.  The Salisbury Fire Department said yesterday that sheets of ice over ponds and other waterways aren't as thick as they might look.  They say small dogs and children can still easily fall in.  They say the temperature hasn't been cold enough lately to make the ice safe to walk on.
