(Frederica, DE) -- A man who stole a dog is behind bars after it attacked a four-year-old child. The incident happened Sunday in the 100 block of Fifth Street in Frederica when a child was attack by a vicious pitbull. Police say the suspect, Roger Scarborough, stole the dog from someone's yard. When the child was riding his bike near his home, the dog attacked. The victim's mother and a friend were able to free the child but he was injured in the process. The four-year-old was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition. The suspect is being charged with reckless endangerment.
