Wilmington, DE) -- The Delaware Memorial Bridge is open after a toxic gas leak. The bridge was shut down for more than six hours yesterday when a gas known as ethylene oxide was released from a chemical tank. Ethylene is an explosive that can cause major problems if exposed to the human body. Authorities say more than 70 percent of it escaped the tank. No injuries were reported and the gas is fully contained.
