(Dover, DE) -- Colleen Davis will be Delaware's next state treasurer. Davis outdistanced incumbent Republican Ken Simpler with 52 percent of the vote. Democrats also claimed victories in all other statewide races. Tom Carper was re-elected to the U.S. Senate, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester was re-elected to the U.S. House, Kathy Jennings took the attorney general race and Kathy McGuiness won the auditor race.
