(Lewes, DE) -- A series of system-wide power outages are scheduled to take place in Lewes. The outages began last night and will run through Friday morning. They will occur nightly at midnight and end at 5 a.m. The overnight outages are to allow workers to safely replace a broken switch gear at the connection between Delmarva Power and Light and the Lewes Board of Public Works.
