Newark Boy Prompts Road Safety Improvement

Newark, DE)  --  A 10-year-old boy is behind a new safety improvement at a Newark intersection.  Last year, Joey Tosh-Morelli successfully petitioned Mayor Polly Sierer to add the words "Stop Ahead" near the intersection of Casho Mill and Church roads.  In his letter he told the mayor he was tired of cars speeding and running the stop sign at that busy intersection.  Yesterday, the fifth-grader helped a public works crew install the "Stop ahead" markings.
