(Newark, DE) -- Newark's Rittenhouse Park is again open to visitors after a grenade sighting shut down the area for several hours. Police say a visitor found a grenade around 2:00 Saturday afternoon. State police bomb experts determined it was a 40mm M169 practice grenade meant for military training. The park was shutdown for a few hours as a bomb-sniffing dog checked the area out of caution for anything suspicious, but nothing was found.
