(Newark, DE) -- New Castle County Police K-9 officer Ace is being credited for finding a missing child in Newark. Officers got a call Saturday afternoon about a seven-year-old autistic child who went missing from a home on East Richards Lane. Ace was able to use the scent from a pair of the child's sneakers found in a wooded area to track down the child. The child was found roughly one mile away from home near Judge Morris Estates on Polly Drummond Road.
