EPA Rejects DE Petition To Reduce Upwind Pollution

(Washington, DC)  --  The Environmental Protection Agency is rejecting Delaware's latest attempt to reduce air pollution.  Senator Tom Carper said the EPA is putting the health of Delawareans at risk by denying the state's petitions seeking to reduce emissions from some power plants in the upwind states of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  The EPA will accept public comment on the proposed action for the next 45 days.
