For the 27th year in a row the Labrador Retriever is the most popular dog breed in the country! American Kennel Club Executive Secretary Gina DiNardo says the lab has its paws firmly planted in Americans' hearts. The German Shepherd and Golden Retriever took the number two and three spots, but there's a big move for an underdog this year. The French Bulldog jumped up two spots to number four, knocking the Beagle out of the top five for the first time since 1998. DiNardo says the Frenchie is poised for a takeover.
