1st Ever Waterfront Oyster Festival

The first-ever Leipsic Oyster Festival will celebrate the working waterfront of this Kent County town. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy fried and fresh oyster platters, fish sandwiches, hamburgers and more prepared by the Leipsic Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

The Leipsic Volunteer Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary knows their oysters! They will offer fried and raw oyster platters, along with fried fish and fried oyster sandwiches. Hamburgers and hot dogs will also be available, along with an assortment of beverages, including beer, and an ice cream truck.

All of the food and merchandise proceeds benefit the Leipsic Watermen and Farmers Museum.

Indoor activities/programs/food will be held at both the Museum and the Leipsic Volunteer Fire Company. Outdoor activities will be held along Main Street, Town Hall field, and the docks.
