At long last, baking royalty is getting in on the edible cookie dough craze. With little-to-no fanfare, Nestlé Toll House has released two kinds of scoop-ready dough in stores: chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip monster. News of the safe-to-eat dough started spreading on social media, after people spied the delicacy on some store shelves--although the new product doesn't appear to be available nationwide just yet. Raw cookie dough is unsafe to eat, since the uncooked eggs can cause salmonella and the raw flour could cause an E. coli infection.
