I came across this article on Romper and couldn't help but share. With the change in our lives right now and kids out of school, what better way to keep them engaged and involved than helping out around the house. If anything, I am personally hoping to take this time to teach them household chores outside of what they learn in school. We're talking lifelong lessons here ... I am struggling with the "home school" thing and mainly because I am working from home and trying to be a mom at the same time! My husband is working too, so we're doing our best to find balance. It's not all lost though, we do have worksheets and there has been some arts and crafts which is perfect for my 4 and 5 year old.

We are all dealing with a different way of life right now, I hope you can find time to enjoy this time with your family. If anything, we have all said at some point or another that we need a break, right? Oddly, this may be the break we all needed. Not exactly how we would have pictured it, but take this time to look on the bright side, take advantage of this time to get things done around the house and spend quality time with your family. Spring cleaning for me this weekend!
