Miranda Lambert To Launch 'Fill The Little Red Wagon Campaign' On Tour

Miranda Lambert has officially announced that she is launching MuttNation's Fill the Little Red Wagon campaign as part of her "Wildcard Tour" in collaboration with Tractor Supply.

Fill the Little Red Wagon offers fans the opportunity to bring food, treats, supplies and donations for animals to any tour location. The donations then go to a local animal shelter in every city where Lambert performs.

"Fill the Little Red Wagon is one my favorite MuttNation programs," Lambert says. "It lets me combine my music with mutts by working with a shelter in every town we play. Shelters always need help and, with the support of my fans, volunteers, Tractor Supply and Live Nation, we’ve collected literally tons of food, toys and supplies for mutts nationwide."

"Our team at Tractor Supply is so excited to be a part of Fill the Little Red Wagon with Miranda and MuttNation as she takes her Wildcard tour out on the road," Nicole Logan, vice president and divisional merchandise manager at Tractor Supply says. "Supporting animal shelters across the country is a cause we’re passionate about at Tractor Supply, and we hope all the fans will bring a donation with them to the show."

Each fan who makes a donation gets to sign up for a chance to meet the country star herself. Lambert and her mother, Beverly, started MuttNation in 2009 as a way to support a cause they were passionate about.

"When you finally get to place in your career where people are paying attention, you have to decide what you want to use your platform for," Lambert previously explained in an interview. "I just knew right away it was gonna be dogs. I've grown up with dogs my whole life and strays and people just dumping them off- I grew up in the country."

She adds, "We've done so much but I also feel like we're just getting started. There's so much work ahead of us."

While on the road for her "Wildcard Tour" Lambert will not only show her support for animals, she also plans to honor first responders at each tour stop. Radio listeners in each city she visits will have the opportunity to nominate a first responder. The chosen honoree will receive a pair of tickets and meet-and-greet passes.

"I wanted to be able to spread that to every city we're visiting on the Wildcard Tour and say thank you to the brave men and women who keep those places safe."

The "Wildcard Tour" begins on Thursday, January 16 in Tupelo, Mississippi and has stops running through the end of February. Joining her on the road is the Texas country singer, Cody Johnson and Lanco. For a few select stops, the Randy Rogers Band and Parker McCollum will also join Lambert. Tickets for the tour are available now.
