Newark Man Sentenced For Dealing Fentanyl Resulting In Death

(Newark, DE) -- A Newark man will spend five-and-a-half years in prison for his part in a man's drug related death. Court documents show 29-year-old Theophil Hollis sold fentanyl-laced heroin to a 27-year-old man who was found dead two days later in 2016. He was determined to have died of a drug overdose. Hollis pleaded guilty to charges of possession and distribution of fentanyl last year. He will also serve three years of probation following his release from federal prison.
