Prison Riot Trial Leads To Not Guilty Verdicts, Decisions For Prosecutors

(Wilmington, DE) -- Two inmates won't face additional prison time for their alleged roles in a riot while prosecutors are left with some decisions to make. The News Journal reports not guilty verdicts were returned yesterday in favor of Abednego Baynes and Kevin Berry for the February 2017 riot at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center. John Bramble and Obadiah Miller were also accused of being involved, but the jury had a problem reaching a consensus on some charges against them. That leaves their fate in the hands of prosecutors who will decide if they go on trial again.
