(Newark, DE) -- The state Supreme Court is denying the appeal filed by the parents of a University of Delaware student who was killed while drunk. Ethan Connolly was hit by a truck after drinking heavily at a sorority party in 2013. His parent sued the university and the sorority, claiming they were responsible for the 19-year-old's death, but a judge ruled in the defendants' favor. The Supreme Court upheld that ruling this week, saying Connolly's death was a result of his own actions.
