Keith Urban is joining the nation in celebrating International Day of the Girl.
The country superstar took to social media to share a special performance to mark the holiday for women, and a special guest joined him. Keith took to the piano alongside wife Nicole Kidman to play and sing along to “Female,” the first single from his latest album Graffiti U.
Nicole, who provides background vocals on the studio version of the song with the song’s cowriter Nicolle Galyon, sits next to her husband and sings along to the female empowerment anthem. But she wasn’t the only female in Keith’s life to help celebrate the holiday. Keith captioned the clip saying daughters Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 7, helped to film it. “Female” was released in the height of the “Me Too” movement, but Galyon assures the song was not inspired by anything other than wanting to have an impact.
Keith tells iHeartCountry he connects with the song as a husband and father.
