Cam headlined Nashville’s Ryman auditorium this week and it’s clear she has an issue with country music today, especially those calling the shots.
“I don’t think country music got soft. I don’t think country music got square,” Cam told the audience. “It’s the people running country music right now that are f**king soft and square.”
But even though she may be a little upset, it didn’t stop her from putting on quite a show, treating the crowd to such hits as “Diane” and “Burning House.” She even brought out some special guests, including The Indigo Girls’ Emily Saliers, for a performance of the song “Come on Home,” and Colbie Caillat who performed her hit “Bubbly.”
But the biggest surprise of the night was an appearance by Eric Church, who joined Cam to perform his hit “Country Music Jesus.”
