(Dover, DE) -- Holiday travelers won't have to deal with roadwork lane closures. DelDot is suspending construction-related lane closures over the long Memorial Day holiday weekend. The suspension went into effect at midnight last night and remains until 12 a.m. Tuesday. Ongoing sustained lane shifts and closures may still be in effect in some areas. AAA is expecting about nine-thousand-seven-hundred travelers this holiday weekend in Delaware.
