AAA: DE Drivers Still Wary Of Self-Driving Cars

Delaware drivers are still concerned about the safety and reliability of self-driving cars.  AAA surveyed 615 drivers in Delaware and 54 percent said they were concerned about the reliability and safety of the technology.  Fourteen percent of Delaware drivers said they support the state becoming a place for testing driverless vehicles.  Thirty-three percent said they would support testing in private areas and 30 percent said they would not support it.  Fully autonomous vehicles may still be years away, but state officials have already established an advisory council on connected and autonomous cars.
