Carrie Underwood Shows Half Her Face On Instagram

Carrie Underwood is ready to show her face again. The singer posted a photo on Instagram of herself in the studio, which is the first real shot of her face since she fell down and needed stiches last year.

Of course, there’s no way of knowing when the photo was taken, but many fans were quick to comment on her appearance, writing, "Such a pretty woman," "What stitches!! I'm so glad ur doing better!!" and "simply beautiful."

Back in January Carrie revealed that not only had she broken her wrist in the fall but she injured her face, noting she looks "different" following the incident. Check out the photo below.

  • ONE MORE THING! Now that the Nashville Predators are once again in the playoffs, Carrie is promising that like last year, country stars will come out to support the team by singing the National Anthem, although she won’t say who. “Last year, I was so proud to be the Captain’s wife and loved being able to contribute to the excitement of the playoffs by coming out to perform the anthem at the first game,” she tells The Tennessean. “I had so much fun and wanted to continue to support the team by asking a few of my friends to get in on the action. …I love that we are able to bring the music and hockey worlds together this way.”
    • And….speaking of hockey, Carrie isn’t too happy with the goaltender interference call that was made in the final seconds of Tuesday night’s Predators' game, which resulted in a loss. She tweeted, “Goaltender interference? Are you out of your mind? On what planet? #WorstCallEver @PredsNHL #NSHvsFLA.” Her hubby Mike Fisher later agreed, writing “If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s you’re always right.”
