Get ready, a new Pop-Tarts flavor is on the way, along with a sweater to match. Pop-Tarts has just announced its latest flavor, Frosted Banana Bread, which it describes as “a great balance of banana flavor and spices to mimic the flavor of banana bread.” Boxes of them will be hitting stores soon, but the really exciting part of the launch is the limited-edition Pop-Tartigan sweater to go with them.
Created by crochet artisan London Kaye, this hand-knit sweater’s pattern was inspired by Pop-Tart’s rectangular shape and features shades of brown, like the pastries just out of the toaster. The look screams coastal grandmother and comes in three styles, but they all have the same Pop-Tart-inspired stitch.
- The “Iconic” Pop-Tartigan - A classic style perfect for your grandma era.
- The “Crop-Tartigan” - This one is said to be “inspired by Y2K style trends”
- The “Toasty Hug Shrug” Pop-Tartigan - Not as big as the cardigan, this shrug wraps around you like a “toasty hug.”
But if you want to get your hands on one of these, you’ll have to move fast because they’re only selling 20 Pop-Tartigans on a first-come, first-serve basis today (March 31st) and again on April 4th. The hand-knit sweaters are $45 and come with a box of the Frosted Banana Bread Pop-Tarts as a bonus. Check out the details and buy the Pop-Tartigans here.
