We’re pretty sure most moms would agree that it’s super annoying when you’re in the mood for your favorite treat and you find that it’s been eaten by your husband or kids. Well, one mom has shared her brilliant idea for how to hide her stash from her family, and folks on social media can’t get over it.
As folks in the UK are about to go into another lockdown due to the coronavirus, mom Jenny Hourd shared what she calls her “number 1 parenting tip" in the Family Lockdown Tips and Idea group on Facebook. She posted a picture of an egg carton with two Cadbury chocolate bars hidden inside, with the headline, “How to hide chocolate from the kids and partner!"
The tip received tons of praise on the Facebook page, with over 5,000 likes and 300 comments, with many users calling her a “hero”
- "This is a game changer!!!,” one person noted, “I will definitely be doing this!!"
- While another added, "This is pure genius!! You should run for parliament.”
- Other folks chimed in with their hiding tips as well, with one noting, “The cleaning cupboard sadly works well too!!!,” and another adding, “I hide mine in my teabag boxes lol."
