Lay has cranked out a few under the radar hits certainly deserving of being a Benny Pick. However, I'm going with Let It. It was the first ever Brandon Lay song that hooked me into his music. This upbeat song about Letting a moment be a moment is one of my favorite takes on love and one of the great applications of a concept to a love song in country music.

October Rose is one of my all-time favorite Nashville's Next bands. Leanne and Derek are just the best people. Their so kind and positive, and their music is incredible! Bonfire is just a great sing along song. I've gotten to witness first hand a crowd new to this single, singing it back after the first verse. These two have captured something special.
